Trichology
without
guesswork

Cause. Plan. Result.

We take a calm, careful look at why your hair is shedding or breaking, or what is troubling your scalp — and agree a clear treatment plan together. In Kyiv, you can see me or a specialist from my team at the Trichology and Hair Care Centre; in London, you will see me personally; and online, where your concern allows.

About me

I am Yulia Agranovych, a dermatologist and trichologist, and I have specialised in hair and scalp conditions since 2014. For me, hair is as much about health as it is about self-confidence. That is why I always look for the cause first and only then choose a treatment — explaining each step calmly and clearly, so that you know what is happening and why.

I see patients in Kyiv and London, teach fellow specialists and speak at professional congresses. I firmly believe that hair should be discussed on the basis of facts, not myths — with patients and colleagues alike. My patients’ results say more about my work than I ever could.

Before and after

Real cases from my practice, which I share on Instagram. Every case is different: the outcome depends on the diagnosis and on the individual, so other patients’ photographs are not a promise of your own result.

Humanitarian mission

Doctor on a UNICEF team

As part of a UNICEF medical mission in Kenya, I saw children every day: examining them, treating skin infections, dressing wounds, placing and removing sutures and monitoring how they healed.

Burns were a particular focus. I developed the use of SPF products to prevent scarring after burns on exposed skin and introduced it into the dermatology protocols. Under the strong African sun, it is skin protection that determines how a scar will look a year later.

The mission reminded me of what matters most: medicine is, first and foremost, about care — giving your full attention to everyone who comes to you for help, wherever you work.

What I treat

Put simply: what lies behind each area of my work. We choose a treatment only once the cause is clear.

  1. 01Hair lossYour hair is shedding more than usual or looks noticeably thinner. That is understandably worrying, so we first take the time to find the cause in your particular case and build the treatment around it.
  2. 02Non-scarring alopeciaThe follicles — the “roots” of the hair — are intact but are not working as they should. Examples include androgenetic alopecia and alopecia areata. Identifying the exact type matters, because the treatment plan depends on it.
  3. 03Scarring alopeciaInflammation damages the follicle and scar tissue forms in its place, so hair can no longer grow there. Timing is crucial: the sooner the process is halted, the more of your own hair can be preserved.
  4. 04Inflammatory scalp conditionsFolliculitis and other conditions in which inflammatory lesions appear on the scalp: redness, pustules, crusting. We establish exactly what is causing the inflammation and tailor the treatment to that cause.
  5. 05Hair transplantationYour own follicles are transferred from areas where hair growth is stable to areas of thinning. After a diagnosis, we will tell you honestly whether this method is right for you.
  6. 06Post-transplant careSupport during recovery after a transplant: we monitor the scalp and the healing process and help you preserve your own, non-transplanted hair.
  7. 07Biocompatible hair implantation (Biofibre)Synthetic fibres that are compatible with the body’s tissues are implanted into the scalp. The method has specific indications and limitations, which we discuss openly at your consultation in the light of your individual situation.
  8. 08Injectable treatmentsTreatments in which a product is delivered by injection precisely where it is needed. I choose the technique and the product only after a diagnosis, according to the underlying cause.

A diagnosis and treatment plan can only be made after an in-person or online consultation.
